This is a fan podcast about the CBS TV Show Elementary. Elementary stars Jonny Lee Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes, a recovering addict, and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson, Sherlock's sober companion, in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD's most impossible cases.

Sherlock helps the NYPD investigate the bombing of a small web design firm that led to a pair of deaths. After combing through the debris, he makes an interesting discovery--the bomb was planted in 2008. With that knowledge, Sherlock attempts to solve a crime that had been lying dormant for almost four years. In the meantime, Watson reminds him that their time together is almost up and he needs to finally pick a sponsor.

TV Show Elementary
I'm thinking about starting a fan podcast for the TV show Elementary, a show about Sherlock Holmes, an addict, and his sober coach, Dr. Joan Watson. I've watched every show and like the murder mystery with the hero being an addict in recovery.
The fan podcast would be about the CBS TV Show Elementary. Elementary which stars Jonny Lee Miller as detective Sherlock Holmes, a recovery addict, and Lucy Liu as Dr. Joan Watson, Sherlock's sober companion, in a modern-day drama about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD's most impossible cases.
I'm trying to get my wife to co-host this show with me. I would look at the show from the Sherlock or addict point of view, while Anna would take the Joan or co-dependent view. The show would start with an overall reaction to the episode. Then a detailed synopsis would follow. I would think we would have a separate segment about how recovery is portrayed and how realistic it is, whether it's myth or not. I'm building the website, I'm working on the album artwork, looking into domain names and planning the show name.
I would have to purchase the shows I don't have saved on my DVR. We would start with the Pilot show and work our way through Season 1. I think there may be good response, especially from the recovery community, since there doesn't appear to be an active fan podcast on this show.

Elementary 000
This is a test of what text would look like in the blog. I would think that a 3 paragraph entry would be typical. We would post show notes and provide links to websites that we reference.
The first post would be on the Elementary Pilot. We would probably have to purchase the shows on Thursday night, we would need to review the show again and probably issue a show on Sunday Night. We would take notes both showings and also some research for each show would be in order.
I would always want to have a section on how recovery was presented, our initial reaction, and how popular culture views recovery. The fact that the hero is in recovery intrigues us. It doesn't look like there is much of a fan online following yet, so we could be on the leading edge here.
